Entrepreneurship Training for Self-Help Group Members

YaR Day celebration 2018
DBCLM had its first separate YaR Day celebration on August 31, 2018 unlike the
usual practice of combining it with anti child labour day and children’s day
celebrations. There were about 250 people

Parents’ Day Celebration
DBCLM had its second parents’ day celebration for the academic year 2017-2018 on May 21, 2018. The meeting started at 11:00 am and most of the
parents were present. Some inputs were given on responsible parenthood.
Staff Meeting and Evaluation
DBCLM had its annual evaluation as usual on May 18 and 19, 2018. After the
introduction and important instructions by Fr Cyril Sagayaraj, the Director, Fr Jose
Joseph, the Administrator briefed the gathering on evaluation and monitoring.
Welcoming the New children by past pupils
For the first time in the history of DBCM a welcome programme for the new children
this year. It was organized by the past pupils of the centre. It was seen as an
opportunity for the centre children to interact with the past pupils and for the llater

This program was organized by DBCLM and Open Shelter on October 2nd, 2017. Dinesh an open shelter project social worker felicitated and welcomed the chief guest Fr. Jose Joseph (Don Bosco Administrator). Nagaraj, an open Shelter project team member narrated the story about Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri and their conribution.
