Celebration Of World Against Anti Child Labour Day – 2024

The World Anti-Child Labour Day programme was held on 15th June 2024 at Don Bosco Child Labour Mission, Davangere in the form of a Walkathon. A total of 80 people participated in the event. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Kuberappa, Inspector of Railway Protection, who hoisted the flag. The Walkathon began at 11:00 AM starting from Don Bosco and ending at the Railway Station. The chief guest emphasized the importance of children's education and the need to eliminate child labour in Davangere. Other distinguished participants included:

• Mr. Kondareddi, Deputy Inspector of Railway Protection

• Fr. Regi Jacob, Director of Don Bosco Child Labour Mission
• Members of the Davangere Press, representatives of the public, staff members of Don Bosco Institutions, and children.
