The summer camp of Don Bosco Davangere, ‘Summer Splash-2012’ for the past plus one and plus two girls, began on the 2nd of April at 10:30 am with the inaugural ceremony presided over by Rev. Fr. Puthenpurayil Kuriakose SDB(Rector). In this residential summer programme for two weeks there are 23 participants.

This camp focuses its attention on educating the children in values, inculcating leadership qualities, talent enhancement, personality development and character formation. One of the prime focuses of the camp is to help the children to improve their communication skills, especially with regard to the speaking of English. At the same time through this camp we offer fun, enjoyment and relaxation for children as they have just reached ‘Suprabha’ after their examinations and after at least an year of gap. They are all so enthused about the 15 days that they are going to be in their old house where they learned the real meaning of life and the value of education.
